About

I graduated from NSCADU in 2009 with a BFA, Major in Fine Art, Minor in Drawing. I then went on to become a Cosmetologist at the Academy of Cosmetology in 2010. Afterwards I continued learning and started a tattoo apprenticeship, though I have yet to finish it. I was heavily guided by artistic people growing up so naturally I embraced my passion and  became an artist of many trades.

I love making people happy, either through artwork, hairstyling, or just because it is nice. I love giving people exactly what they want in terms of visualising through a heavy line of questioning to get there. I keep working hard on my skills and abilities to become better and better at what I do.

I get Inspiration from everything around me, especially if its outside.
If you just look, there are some incredible things out there.

Interests & Hobbies

I enjoy going on long hikes and taking in the scenery of the surrounding world. The flowers, animals, bugs and nature inspire me. I love going on long hikes so I can explore more and more of what naure has to offer. I love getting up close and personal with nature and braiding it in to my artwork. I love the natural world and how beautiful abd peaceful it can be. It is definitely a big part of my creativity.

I feel a strong connection with the wilderness and its awesome existence. I find a great deal of inspiration through animals and bugs of all kinds, through their expressions, movements, mechanics and noises. Many elements of my artwork incorporate what I have been shown through the observation of creatures and nature. It is just so cool.

I also love baking, and enjoy cooking. It is time consuming and messy, but it is so rewarding if you can do it well. I love making cookies and pies the most, and I love it when people ask me to bake for them. I do love hearing about how good my baked goods are. I've been baking since I started to draw, so lets just say I have some serious practice.

I have another Story, a fairly emotional one. My Tumblr blog explores an inside look at the awareness and struggles of infant loss.
