I have dabbled in hair colouring, styling and cutting since I was thirteen years of age(as soon as I had permission to colour my own hair). I became creative and confident in my abilities and began working on my friends and family in my early twenties. Once I finished my bachelor of fine arts, I dove immediately into cosmetology. Cosmetology can be a very stressful trade, but I enjoy the creativity and satisfaction it brings to me and my clients. 

 

I have a secret that I will share only here. I never liked my hair when I went to the salons growing up, I had poofy unmanageable hair that I had battles to maintain for many years. It was a mess, I was and still sort of am partial to hats and ponytails. I can only recall one visit to the hairdresser that ended with me being happy, which was on one of my trips accross the country of course. So I went in to the profession not only to learn more about doing hair but also to bring happiness and joy to people who have continued their search for a stylist who will listen to them and do whatever they can to make them look their best. I am very proud to call myself a stylist who is confident, passionate and creative.
